Weekend School

Al Tawheed Islamic Center offers weekend school for children, teaching them how to recite Quran with proper Tajweed. The school also offers Quran and Dua memorization, Arabic Handwriting and Islamic studies. It is a great Opportunity for our children during weekend to learn how to recite Quran properly.

Tawheed Weekend School Registration is currently closed because of COVID, if you would like to be added to the waitlist, please fill up the application on this link at bottom. By the will of Allah we will resume soon when the Pandemic is over.

FAQ:

  1. What are the age requirements?

The age requirement for ATICJC weekend school is any child from the age of 5 until 16 years of age.

  1. What days is school?

The school is on Saturdays every week from October 5th, 2019 to May 16th, 2019.

  1. How much is the tuition?

Tuition is $50 monthly with a $50 one time registration fee yearly that includes the cost of the application, books and stationary.

  1. How is the weekend school set up?

Quran & Arabic Writing: The classes are divided into two main levels Qaidah and Tajwid. Further the Qaidah students are divided into 3 Levels. Each level would take a year that makes it a total of 4 years.

Islamic Studies: Based on the Assessment and age of the student, the student will be placed in an appropriate level. There are 7 levels as of 2020, the student may start from Level 1 or 2 or 3 and progress to a higher level each year.

  1. What is the attendance policy?

Students are allowed a total of 4 absences per year, without penalty.

  1. What subjects are taught in this school?

Quran Recitation, Memorization of Quran & Essential Dua’s, Arabic Handwriting and Islamic studies are taught in different levels in AIC Weekend school.

  1. What curriculum is followed?

AIC weekend school follows the Safar Academy Curriculum in which, upon completion, students are able to read directly from the Quran with ease and write Arabic Alphabets.
